About Me

From a young age, food has been my passion and refuge. Growing up as a first-generation Australian with a Danish mother and South African father, I was exposed to diverse culinary influences. When my parents separated, I stepped into the kitchen as the eldest child, preparing meals for our family and discovering the magic of cooking.

Although I pursued a double degree in science and design, my heart remained in the kitchen. After graduation, I spent seven years in gourmet food sales, working with independent retailers across WA and deepening my appreciation for quality ingredients and meaningful connections through food.

A turning point came when I applied for MasterChef Australia, where I secured ninth place and found a profound sense of belonging. Since then, I’ve embraced opportunities to share my love of food through live demonstrations, MCing events, and hosting a weekly food segment on TripleM WA. My mission extends to educating the next generation on ethical sourcing, sustainability, and reducing food waste, with hopes of delivering more school programs.

With dreams of launching private dining experiences, I continue to cherish cooking as both an art and a way to connect with others—without the pressure of the MasterChef clock.

Endometriosis Australia Ambassador

My journey with endometriosis has been both challenging and transformative. Battling this condition since I was 12, it took 13 years and countless doctor visits before I finally received a diagnosis. This long, painful journey has fueled my passion for educating women about endometriosis and advocating for better awareness and early detection.

As a proud ambassador for Endometriosis Australia, I’m committed to raising support for this vital organization through my platforms. My goal is to help others recognize the signs of endometriosis early on and to emphasize the importance of seeking medical help. I also understand that managing endometriosis involves more than just medical treatment—it also requires a holistic approach.

Diet plays a significant role in managing symptoms, and I’m passionate about creating and sharing endo-friendly recipes that help ease inflammation and support overall wellness, whilst making the process fuss free! By providing practical tips and delicious recipes, I aim to make it easier for others to incorporate beneficial foods into their daily lives.

Through public platforms, writing recipes, and personal mentoring, I strive to empower women to take control of their health, share their stories, and support one another. My journey has taught me the value of resilience, hope, and self-care, and I’m dedicated to inspiring others to navigate their own health challenges with strength and confidence while supporting the important work of Endometriosis Australia.
